Okay, so this is cool:
Just wrote an email for a client… who had a small-ish list of 10k, and an offer he wanted to send to them.
Took me about 3 hours to write.
We sent it the same day.
…and that one email has since pulled in 670 sales and grossed over $34,000(we’re still getting sales from it; odds are when all is said and done, it will have pulled in 700+ sales).
How?
2 factors:
(A) The list was *very* qualified. It was made up of people who had bought one of this client’s products before.
(B) It had a *truly* great offer. The email was essentially saying, “because you bought one of my products in the past, I’m gonna give you a really good deal… I’m gonna let you get this new product I just launched for $69… whereas everyone else has to pay $349.” And it was true. He wasn’t just saying that. Everyone else who would be buying this new product would be paying $349 for it. So he was offering it at a STEEP discount.
You can’t dress up a mediocre offer, glue some “high converting sales copy” on it, and expect to see great results.
You just can’t.
Make sure you have a truly great offer. And the response will astound you.
